What's new for 2025
Call me at 303-260-9957 to find out what plan can give you the most benefits for 2025 in the county you reside. Depending on the area you live, one or more plans can give you one or more of the following benefits at no cost to you:
THE GOOD
- Prescription Drug Coverage: For 2025 the total out-of-pocket cost has been reduced to $2,000. Once you reach this amount, you will enter the Catastrophic Stage where you will pay $0 for all covered drugs. The Gap Stage (“Donut Hole”) is gone for 2025!
- Food Card: There are a few Medicare plans that will provide a food card for people with a chronic health condition.
- Extra Benefits: There are many plans that provide the following extra benefits:
- Giveback: Receive money back on your Social Security benefits in exchange for reduce benefits.
- Dental, Vision and Hearing Aids: These benefits are included with most plans and varies widely between companies.
THE BAD
- Transportation: Some companies will eliminate this benefit for 2025. Contact me!
- Dental: Plans that are covering dental implants for 2024 will not cover them for 2025.
- Flex Card: Some plans will no longer have Flex allowance. Contact me!
- Over-the-Counter (OTC): This benefit has been removed for 2025 with some plans but there might be other plan options in your area with OTC allowance. Contact me!
FOR PEOPLE WITH BOTH: MEDICARE AND MEDICAID
There are additional benefits available for people that are enrolled in Medicare and receive Medicaid from the state (You can apply for Medicaid at the department of Humana Service of the county you reside).
Full Medicaid Benefits: If you receive full Medicaid benefits in addition to your Medicare, you can get additional benefits. Benefits include but are not limited to the following:
- Dental: More dental allowance than regular Medicare members
- Vision: More dollars for frame and glasses
- Hearing Aids: Zero copay for Hearing Aids
- Food Card: You can get an allowance to buy healthy food at participating grocery stores. Some plans allow payment of utilities, rent, mortgage, personal items with the card!
- Over-the-Counter (OTC): Some plans offer additional funds for over-the-counter items.
- Transportation: Some plans will pay for transportation to medical appointments.

MEDICARE SCAM AND FRAUD
CALLS
Be aware of
many calling SCAMS and FRAUD targeting Medicare members. You should know that neither “Your
Medicare Assist” (us), “Medicare” or “Social Security” make
unsolicited calls regarding Medicare benefits or for any other reason. You should NEVER provide your
Medicare number or any other personal information to anyone you don’t
know. Avoid answering phone calls from
numbers you don’t recognize or hang up immediately if they ask you about your
Medicare.
If you
receive an unsolicited call, make note of the telephone number and report it
immediately. You can find out where to
report this bad actors calls by doing a Google search: “Where do you report scam phone calls?” If your number is listed in the “Do Not Call
List,” you can also report the unwanted calls to the National Do Not Call
Registry website from the government.
